We’re seeking an Analyst, Survey Operations to join us in continuously raising the bar to do just that.
The Opportunity & Role
As an Analyst, Survey Operations, you’ll support the full lifecycle of quantitative research—from survey instrument setup and fieldwork coordination to data processing. You’ll learn advanced methods on the job and gain proficiency in survey platforms and statistical tools. You’ll be hands-on with programming and QA, partner with vendors to maintain timelines and quality, and help transform raw data into clear client-ready outputs.
What You’ll Do
- Own quality control across the quantitative research lifecycle, including questionnaire development, survey programming, data processing, and client-facing reports.
- Assist with programming surveys; implement logic, randomization, and quality controls with senior guidance.
- Coordinate fieldwork with vendors: monitor incidence, completes, timelines, and sample quality; flag risks early.
- Transform raw data into clean, interpretable formats for analysis with rigorous quality control to ensure data is accurate and reliable.
- Support advanced analytics workflows with senior guidance.
- Document steps and maintain organized codebooks and SOPs; contribute to reproducible workflows.
- Collaborate with client teams to ensure outputs align with client questions and storytelling needs.
What You’ll Need
- Degree in a quantitative field or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in survey operations, market research, or data analysis; strong internships considered.
- Experience with survey platforms and statistical languages or packages; familiarity with Forsta and Q/DisplayR a plus.
- Detail orientation, organization, and eagerness to learn advanced methods and tools.
- Clear written and verbal communication; collaborative and proactive.

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $70,000 – $90,000 USD. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
Location
US-based, remote position with work-from-home flexibility 4–5 days per week. Strong preference for candidates in the Washington, DC or New York, NY metropolitan areas. Those based in DC or NYC meet in person for one full work week per month in a co-working office for strategic and collaborative work.
