About Storyline Strategies

We create research-driven narratives that transform. Harnessing unparalleled creativity and uncompromising precision, we provide storytelling research, insights, and strategy for the most influential and ascendant companies in tech, entertainment, nonprofit, and public policy.

From messaging architectures to brand platforms, from policy to product, our team of strategy, messaging, design, and research experts hones communications insights to craft stories that help our clients confidently tell their own.

At the heart of our organization is our mission to be an indispensable strategic partner with diverse, innovative, and global capabilities.

About the Role

We’re seeking a bright, driven individual to join our growing enterprise as a Market Research & Communications Strategy Intern for Fall 2025. Our interns aren’t just observers; they are integral contributors who gain invaluable practical experience and professional connections.

Prepare to dive into a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities. You might find yourself informing research design or drafting critical client deliverables in the morning and engaging in the backroom of a dynamic focus group after lunch.

A key component of this internship is a capstone project that serves as a tangible demonstration of your learning and contributions. This deliverable not only reinforces your practical experience but also enhances your professional portfolio, illustrating your ability to both lead a strategic effort, and apply theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges.

This paid internship supports our Narrative and Strategy team. While no two days are the same, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Researching client topics to inform focus group questions and prompts that align with client objectives
  • Developing qualitative and quantitative materials and inputs in collaboration with the Narrative & Strategy Team
  • Observing focus groups to listen for insights, develop findings, and engage in the virtual backroom discussion
  • Organizing data, input documents, and transcripts for client delivery and key quote curation
  • Presenting draft materials and reports to Storyline leadership for practice and exposure

You’re a college student, recent graduate, or young professional with a keen interest in learning about the world of communications consulting. You have:

  • Strong communication skills (essential for a remote role).
  • A strong sense of curiosity and a passion for details.
  • A deep appreciation for the written word and a creative affinity.
  • A team-player mindset with a strong work ethic and a willingness to tackle any challenge and contribute to any project.

Regardless of your location, you’ll be expected to be available during at least part of the standard Eastern Time business day to ensure effective collaboration.

Duration: Late August to late December 2025

Compensation: Paid Internship
